1. Ticket sale for regular ship routes:
covers the process of selling tickets for the ship routes by predefined allotments at the specific selling point and tracks availability of the allotments at every location in real time.
The sale is organized in a way where users use an island identity card to buy tickets, information on the card is located on the SEOP server (Central Register of Island Rights).
If the printed ID is valid, the passenger will receive the privileged ticket, and the SEOP server will be provided with the information on the sold ticket by the Coastal Agency for Maritime traffic (A-ZOLPP), and with that the rules of the Agency about selling normal and inexpensive tickets are met.
The The ticket selling system can work offline, no internet access is required.
If needed, information about the sold tickets is transferred to the central server where the other reports on sales are (i.e. sales, drives, cashier, number and value of sold tickets in a specific time period and other reports as needed).
All reports are available to authorized staff via WEB browser and through administration module.
2. Ticket control and records:
the system covers the process of controlling and registering passengers.
Every ticket is marked with a unique barcode, and when boarding, tickets are scanned with a mobile device, using information about passengers from the central server.
When scanning of the tickets is done, it is possible to:
- get the necessary data for CIMIS (Croatian Integrated Maritime Information System) via WEB interface
- it's possible to send data on usage of privileged cards to the SEOP WEB service in a requested period.
